"Rekindled" Update

It has been quite a while since my last update. Things have been very chaotic, very stressful, and very exciting. We are in development/pre-production on my 2nd feature, "Rekindled". This flick is going to be big. We're shooting the movie for a budget of $15 million. Obviously in Hollywood standards, this budget is still pretty modest. But, for a man whose first film was in the $60,000 range, this is all very exciting. We've been negotiating with a lot of amazing name actors for the project. The only question remains is when exactly we will go into production. We have a planned production start-date of March 31, 2008. But these strikes might command us into a delay. So, depending on how everything goes, we should be into production shortly. If you have any questions regarding the film, feel free to get in touch. Post-Premiere News

Sorry to update so late. I have been very busy in the world of selling the movie.

The premiere came and went it was an amazing success. 600 people...most of whom really enjoyed the film.

Things are going very well. We are in negotiations for distribution, and awaiting film festivals to begin. Unfortunately, because of the arduous editing process, we missed the deadline for Sundance, but we'll be submitting "The Falling" to many other major festivals throughout the year.

Now, all that is left...is waiting.

The Falling is COMPLETE...PERIOD....Hope to see all of you on the 21st.

Update - 11/7/06

The Falling is 75% complete.

I'm about an hour and 10 minutes in with sound editing. Only 45 more minutes to go.

...I can smell the finish line.

Update - 10/21/06

I've made some minor cuts and now the film is down to 1 hour and 55 minutes.

Adrian is almost halfway done with the score and it's better than I could have ever hoped for.

We made a new poster - it's sleeker and less cluttered - check it out.

I'm about 33 minutes in with sound editing.

The Falling is done... clocking in at 2 hours.

Just soundwork left.

Adrian is still slaving away.

Update - 9/17/06

The movie is nearly done!

Just editing the finale and then it's on to foley work (sound effects/editing).

Adrian has finished the opening theme and it's awesome!

"The Falling" Update

The movie is coming together well ... I have a little over 1 hour and 20 minutes edited.

Foley work begins next week on the flick.

Adrian is hard at work on the score. The theme song sounds great.

We are still looking for extra funding to convert the film over to 35mm film. If anyone has any contacts or people interested in donating, e-mail me.
